One of the most important elements that we need to understand is that our dogs
need to be motivated to learn how to do these strange things that we ask of them,
and that it isn’t just some automatic process of submissive willingness that the dogs
are born with. The “Pattern Learning” principle automatically takes this fact into account and if followed correctly will consistently motivate our dogs to
learn and obey commands when given.
